Treatment Aftercare

Contact DermaPhi promptly for worsening pain, marked swelling, blistering, drainage, fever, or unusual discoloration. After injectables, sudden vision changes, severe unusual pain, weakness, trouble speaking, swallowing, or breathing require emergency care.
Injectables
- Do not rub, massage, or apply firm pressure to treated areas.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and excessive heat during early recovery.
- Remain upright for the period specified by your injector.
- Apply makeup gently only if the skin is intact and your provider permits it.
Small bumps, tenderness, redness, headache, or mild bruising can occur temporarily.
- Use a cool compress only as directed and avoid heavy pressure.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive heat during early recovery.
- Sleep slightly elevated if swelling is present.
- Do not schedule dental work or other procedures close to treatment unless cleared.
Unusual pain, vision changes, or white, gray, blue, or mottled skin requires immediate evaluation.
- Do not rub or press injection bumps unless specifically instructed.

- Do not pick crusting or pinpoint scabs.
- Use sunscreen once the skin can tolerate it.
- Follow the aftercare for the delivery method, such as injections or microneedling.
- Do not stop prescribed medicines without guidance.

- Do not pick darkened pigment, crusting, or flaking skin.
- Use gentle skincare and sunscreen.
- Avoid heat, strenuous exercise, tanning, and irritating actives while red or swollen.
- Do not pick active lesions.
- Change acne medication only with guidance.
- Follow dressing and wound-care instructions exactly.
- Keep the area clean and avoid friction, swimming, and soaking until healed.
- Do not pop blisters or pick scabs.
- Protect the area from sun.
Facials & Peels
- Use moisturizer or ointment exactly as directed.
- Do not scratch, rub, peel, or remove flaking skin.
- Avoid tanning, direct sun, retinoids, acids, scrubs, and waxing until healed.
- Wait to use makeup until approved for the depth of peel.
- Follow wound-care instructions if tissue coagulation or lesion treatment was performed.
- Keep treated sites clean and dry as directed.
- Do not pick crusts or apply makeup over open areas.
- Use only approved skincare and sun protection.
- Use gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen.
- Avoid retinoids, acids, scrubs, and waxing if sensitive.
- Do not combine with peels, microneedling, or laser treatments until cleared.
Body & Wellness
- Hydrate unless you have fluid restrictions.
- Use compression garments only when recommended.
- Light walking may be encouraged; resume strenuous exercise as directed.
- Do not aggressively massage a tender area unless the protocol requires it.
- Use medication only as prescribed.
- Follow the nutrition, hydration, movement, and follow-up plan.
- Track significant nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, dizziness, or other side effects.
- Attend monitoring visits and laboratory checks when ordered.
- Keep the bandage on for the recommended time.
- Hydrate and eat normally unless instructed otherwise.
- Avoid heavy lifting with the treated arm if sore.
- Monitor the site for increasing redness, warmth, swelling, drainage, or streaking.
